Global Enterprise VP Sales Scale Up Tech

Company Brief:

Our client is a fast growing tech, which is looking for a hand’s on Global VP of Sales, who has built sales teams and generated sales for other start-up, or scaleup tech companies.

Main Duties:

  • Responsible for coordinating closely with counterparts in Marketing, business development, Solution Consulting, Alliances and Services to maximise revenue capture from customers and prospects across territories.
  • Build a strategy that reflects and delivers consistent quarterly achievement across the entire account base.
  • Effectively manage complex SaaS sales-cycles, presenting the value of our applications to C suite audiences.
  • Drive successful collaboration across all internal stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
  • Deliver consistent and accurate forecasting and maintain all sales cycle activities within Salesforce in accordance with sales process and methodology
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with our Alliance Partners to develop go to market plans.
  • Achieve growth, new market penetration, and customer acquisition through exceptional sales leadership
  • Manage Account Executives to help develop and execute lead generation strategies with Marketing that allow us to grow in new markets
  • Work closely with AEs/BDEs on the sales process, pitch materials, value props, and strategy to enable them to move deals from demo to close as efficiently and effectively as possible
  • Inspire, lead, and enable the team responsible for new business growth and revenue generation
  • Refine and enhance sales processes to ensure a predictable, repeatable, and scalable growth
  • Decide on how to best allocate resources across the sales team to achieve both short term and long term results
  • Optimise and maintain value proposition materials, such as product demo decks, call scripts, and outbound email templates to improve lead generation and help AEs/BDEs close
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new revenue team members with collaboration from our People & Culture team

Requirements:

  • Strong sales track record for Scaleups & Start-up companies within the tech sector.
  • Strong B2B SaaS or Enterprise Tech sales track record UK, US Markets and globally.
  • Strong operational sales leader, NOT a big corporate person who is about strategy. Our client wants a person who executes, implements and get sales results.
  • Someone who knows how to turn this solid initial traction we have achieved into true scale
  • Someone who can refine our processes to make them repeatable again and again across brand categories
  • Someone who knows how to close in enterprise B2B SaaS companies
  • Someone who is a proven, natural born people manager and leader who can get the very best out of a sales team
  • Someone who has a keen eye on how to hire and recruit the best sales talent, and knows how to build training and onboarding processes to get that talent ramped up quickly
  • Someone who can take the company to £50m+ ARR
