Enterprise Infrastructures Architect
Our client is a leading and growing Tech Multinational.
Role Outline:
In addition to establishing standards and documenting current and future state architecture, Infrastructure Enterprise Architect Principal will collaborate with IT and relevant business teams to develop technology capability roadmaps for the future. Work closely with solution architects to ensure designs are developed and implemented according to established architectural principles and guidelines. Possess excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that allows them to effectively share their knowledge with a variety of IT teams, business stakeholders, and IT leadership.
What You Will Do:
An Enterprise Architect will be responsible for the Infrastructure and Infosec domains in a federated architecture governance model.
Establish standards and document current and future state architectures in close collaboration with Domain Architects for infrastructure, cloud, network, and infosec.
Develop short- and long-term business and technology capability roadmaps in partnership with IT leadership, domain architects, and business function leadership (as applicable).
Partner with Domain Architects to identify and champion Architecture driven initiatives to meet corporate goals of agility, reliability, productivity, security, and speed, and propose those projects as part of IT project portfolio planning.
Deliver architecture, solution, and technical designs on major project initiatives.
Identify and evaluate new and emerging technologies for the benefit of business and IT teams in collaboration with Domain Architects.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent degree and experience
- 10+ years architecture, design, and implementation experience of Enterprise IT Infrastructure, network, and Information Security experience.
- AWS Solution Architect Certification required
- Proven track record as an Enterprise Architect in a federated Architecture function. With specific focus on Infrastructure, cloud, and Infosec.
- Valuable to have experience with Enterprise Architecture tools like LeanIX, or others.
- Proven experience presenting to Leadership of IT and Business functions.
- Knowledge in developing and delivering Infrastructure, cloud platforms, and data center services.
- Experience building mission critical infrastructure for tier1 applications, running in a highly distributed and secure manner.
- Understanding of infrastructure as code e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation as well as other automation frameworks e.g., Puppet, Chef).
- Great understanding of Software Defined Network.
What would make you stand out:
- Exposure to Infosec related certifications and Standards and Compliance, a plus.
- Familiarity with VMware, Azure, AWS, Zoom, O365/Teams, a plus
- Proven track record working with an Agile development SDLC methodology and applying Architecture Governance.
- Excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of Enterprise Infrastructure domains, including Storage/Compute, Networking, End user Technology, Private/Public/Hybrid Cloud (IaaS), Collaboration, and DevOps. In addition, he/she will have a good understanding of Information Security domain including Security Frameworks, Security tools across Apps, Network, mobile and Corp Risk and Compliance management
- Great understanding of industry-wide technology strategies and best practices.
- TOGAF, AWS or Azure certification is preferred.
