Main purpose of role
Lead the global R&D organization – approx. 100 people
Ultimate responsibility for design, development, QA, delivery/DevOps, L3 support of all software products
Responsibility for quality and timely delivery of products as per roadmap Accelerate the transformation of the global organization into DevOps Support the elaboration of new software architectures and help with the adoption of latest cloud technologies and portfolio morphing strategies into SaaS, PaaS, IaaS
Key Role Responsibilities
- Working together with the President/CTO and VP PLM, contribute to the design and implementation of the product strategy.
- Build new competencies in the organization to support all strategic research projects (DevOps, AI/ML, Edge Compute, Data Streaming/Telemetry…)
- Put a framework for the selection and adoption of best open source and commercial 3rd party technologies (e.g. storage/DB) and manage the ecosystem of technology OEMs
- Organization, recruitment, training and management of teams across four geographical sites, in Agile methodologies
- Responsible to build a unique set of processes, quality gates and delivery timelines across the various geographies
- Production processes permanent improvement, KPIs setup, tracking and reporting
- Accountability for product deliveries’ quality, schedule, contents and budget conformance
- Leveraging and morphing of legacy codebase into Cloud-based, Virtualized infrastructures
- Lead the strategy and plans for the transformation and transitioning of the platform and the
entire portfolio of SW applications to SaaS native (multi-tenant) in public cloud
Must have- In command of all aspects of software product lifecycle in OOD, Agile, Cloud, Devops, SaaS/AWS and SaaS/Azure environments – prove track record of such experience
- Proven experience in managing multi-site R&D at scale (multiple product lines) in ISV environment
- Proven experience of successful Cloud and Virtualization transformation
- Experience with industrial/carrier grade/mission critical software
- Experience of off-shore teams management (ideally managing a team in India)
- Proven capability to conciliate rapid and visible innovation with sustained support and technical evolution of legacy product lines
- Ideally experienced to work in a mid-size organisation: being able to be hand-on and lead a technical team as well as support with the transformation, setting the product strategy and innovation.

- Management of a global organization across FR, US, IN, TWN
- This role would require travelling to Gurgaon (India), Folsom (CA),
Taipei and London (meeting with Ops, sales, etc.)
- Occasional travel to meet customers and attend events such as our
annual User Group Meeting
